Scotties have their OWN ideas about life...
They do NOT dance to the same tune as most canines.
Scotties think on a different plane... an alternate dimension!
A scottie parent tries to think like a scottie...
to see life from their scottie's point of view!
And what frightens us MOST about this fact is that
we scottie Mams & Dads UNDERSTAND our scotties' thought processes!
Riley (L) and Katie (R) doze on Connie's lap...
Katie is in an almost full 'belly UP' position!
Positions CHANGE in my lap. Riley lays down the length of the legs.
Katie prefers to nap between me and the arm of the recliner....
using RILEY as a pillow!
THIS nap uses GUS as the "pillow du jour"!!
Shhhhhhhh.......we woke Katie UP!
UH OH!! I TOLD ya we woke her up!!!!!!
Riley does love to share his naptime with a comfy hound dog!

Riley 'visits' with the neighboring Wire Fox Terrier.
Riley(L) and Katie(R) check the yard smells of all who have entered 'their' yard,
be it squirrel, bunny, bird, or C@T!
SCOTTIE POINT OF VIEW:
*fierce Scottie GLARE, legs braced, tail erect and rigid*
OUR YARD..... OUR GRASS..... OUR SUNSHINE..... OUR AIR!

Riley(L) chews on his VERY ugly swan.... Katie (R) works on HER tennis ball jack.
Katie (L) and Riley (R) take a break...STILL within pawreach of their toys!
Katie ADORES anything made of "tennis ball".... shape/size/color is irrelevant!
Katie begins to contemplate a "toy take-over" ....
she's a careful planner in this type of strategy!

Scottie possession IS the law!!
Riley(L) and Katie(R) take an afternoon nap in their ultra large, ultra comfy bed....
that was specially shipped to New Orleans for their comfort!
Riley(L) and Katie(R) share ANOTHER naptime
on THEIR own throw, amid THEIR toys!
SCOTTIE POINT OF VIEW:
ALWAYS act tough, show that terrier spirit, and display a will of steel...
but DON'T EVER allow that 'exterior' get in the way of a Scottie's COMFORT!
The Wild Child Gang teams up on their hound dog, Gus.

Katie's nose inspects EVERY package, every box....ALWAYS!
 
Box, sack, wrapped, unwrapped.... on the floor, on the ottoman.... matters not.
Katie and Riley's furry muzzles WILL be in the middle of it!

Following Connie's hip surgery, we borrowed/confiscated two of Katie's tennis balls for the walker.
Thus began a HUGE battle for those 'yellow orbs'!!!

OUR home, run OUR way ...
we just let Mam hang around cuz she has a pocket for the KEYS!
